First Day back to school...

Today is my first day back to school after a 3 months break...time flies and now i'm back to studies again..will offically start lecture this fri...3 lectures in a go...ha.....today is the cca fair too and I went to look around...guess wat, i got a cca le....ha...join chinese society and receive a membership card... my first cca in uni, feel rather excited...it's on friday and since i end class at 6.30 on fri, i think it's convenient for me to join cos it starts at 7....wish to join the sub committee of either welfare ( in charge of various events such as new year, gathering), publicity( can learn to print flyers, design t-shirts) or threatre management team( in charge of lightings, mikes etc during performances)...all sounds interesting and fun..ha...i may go learn skills too like drama acting or calligraphy...bought textbooks today also..very heavy cos very thick books!! i browse through and find the contents useful and quite interesting..hope the lessons are interesting too...can see that a lot of projects and assignments coming up...must jia you le....a tough semester ahead but hope i can cope..hee

Few days left...

Few left days till school reopens...time really flies, can still remember the excitiment and curiousity i had for university life when i was a freshie.....now i'm in year 2, just two more years before graduation, two more years before i have to face the real world out there, struggling for survival, ha..sounds a bit scary but this is the transition that everyone has to face... got assignments ready for me le even before school starts..a bit sian cos still in holiday moods..ha..must pack up my holiday moods and start to buck up for a challenging new semester waiting for me next week..jia you! and jia you to all my friends!! ( P.S hope we can still keep in contact even if we are in different majors k..u know who u are..hee)

Fear of loss

Today as i woke up to get ready for tuition, as usual i went to feed my pet hamster, mao mao...however i couldn't find it!!! the lid of the cage was broken and my sis forgot to mend it.....immediately, i woke up my sis and began our search for mao mao....it's really difficult as it was so small and won't respond to our calls as a dog does......i was really scared, scared i couldn't find it, scared i would lose it for life...there's a hole at the kitchen area and i was afraid that it had falled into it..argh...horrible feelings!!! hate it!! panic struck as we could not find it..luckily, my mum found it in a shoe box...phew..it looked frightened too and once we put it back to its cage, it rushed to drink water....thanks goodness, it was alright or i would feel guilty for the rest of my life....fear of loss is a horrible feeling..i know in life, we cannot avoid losing our loved ones and pets as they will one day be gone, however, it's impt to treasure them now or else it will be too late when the day of loss comes....hope that my mao mao will not disappear again...
