Music to the ears...
Been studying till late at night due to exams... lucky today is the last paper, got a week or so to charge up before heading towards another phase of work, professional attachment...hope everything goes well then... :P
I have been listening to my mp3 recently as I am someone who needs music to study one...i keep listening to JJ's new songs, super nice...haha..in my opinion at least cos they are soothing, catchy love songs...romantic to listen at night..haha. They are 熟能生巧,原来 and 只对你说. Nice nice...keke..
Going to be broke cos i need to buy office wear for my PA...I only have two office shirt, a pantand a grey skirt...so need buy some more..i dun wan to always wear the long sleeve shirt to work...ha...hope got lots of sales :P

Favourite Characters
Here’s an entry about some of my favorite characters from cartoons and animes:
1) 哆啦A梦 (doraemon)
He’s a great companion for me during my childhood days and I enjoy watching him bringing out amazing gadgets from his pocket. I envy 大雄 for having 哆啦A梦 as his friend as he can solve problems for him and console him whenever大雄 is sad. Some of the famous gadget I remember is the door where you can place anywhere and when you open it, you can actually go into the place that you desire..another one is a special bread where you can copy the words on your textbook and when you eat it, you can remember everything that is printed on the bread…cool!! He can also fly anywhere he likes…wow….
2) Uzumaki Naruto
He is a ninja who aims to become a Hokage. He is brave, determined and ambitious. I like his “never say die” spirit and how he fights his way through the many obstacles, in exams or with his enemies. He is also full of weird ideas and never fails to make me laugh…
3) Rock Lee
Here’s another character from Naruto series. He has a cute mushroom head style and his weird green clothes catches attention. He had no Genjutsu (illusionary technique) or Ninjutsu (ninja technique, basic ninja seals/techniques) But he was determined and swore that he would succeed. Lee then put all his time and effort into Taijutsu. He always strives to work harder than everyone else, putting harsh standards on himself. He believes that with hard work, he can surpass a genius. With the help of his Sensei Gai, Lee has become the best Gennin Taijutsu user in Konoha. One thing I like about him is his determined character which I lack…
4) Tohru Honda
She’s a cute, sweet and helpful girl who has lost both her parents. Lucky, she meets a group of good friends who are extraordinary. They are down with a curse and when people of opposite sex hug them, they will turn into animals. There are 12 animals that represent the twelve Chinese 生肖. She is also a Taurus like me! haha

Mirror Mirror on the wall
Yesterday, I watched a horror movie on channel U..ha..surprising, right? cos I am a timid person who dun like horror movie but Heard from my sister that yesterday show,鬼镜人is not scary one cos dun have scary ghost face so i watched it..hee
The plot is abt several murder cases occuring in a building but all have been found to be killed by themselves...strange? actually, they are killed by their own reflection in the mirror..interesting, right? one scene shows a man using a stick to dig his right ear while backfacing the mirror..then, suddenly, he sees a hand reaching out from the mirror to cover his left ear and then another hand pushing the stick right into his right ear..gross!! The man died... Another scene is a man placing his hand on the mirror and then the hand inside the mirror reaches out, wraps his fingers around the real hand and twisted the hand...ouch...
We look at ourselves at the mirror everyday and the reflection inside imitiates our movements...wouldn't it be scary thinking that when u bend down, your reflection still stand right up and it has a life of its own? scary...!!!

Korean Fever
I’m sure many of you have heard of the famous Korean show, 大长今。It is currently shown on channel U at 10 pm and I have been a loyal fan of this show. Maybe I am drawn to it due to the large popularity it has received from many countries and thus, decide to watch it. Since the first episode, I find the plot rather interesting and the appearance of 小长今 makes me drawn to the show even more….
She is so adorable and smart, her hardworking and the “never give up” spirit makes me impressed. She has lost both her parents at a tender age and yet, she fears nothing and braves through obstacles she face in her life and manage to enter the palace as a palace maid… Her adorable moves, expressions and clever thinking are the major factor why I continue watching the show…
The show is about cooking and cooking has its theories too, it’s not just a simple whipping of some dishes… “Sincerity and time is the secret formula to cooking good food ” is one of the “theories” I learnt from the show. Very true, right? I am amazed at how cooking food for the emperor is such a grand affair and the food presented is so beautifully decorated and so much variety…wow…(envy the emperor)
The show also reveal darkness in the palace as some ladies fight against each other, backstabbing each other in order to achieve their aim such as being the Top Lady…That’s what happen in real working life right, where the strongest survive and colleagues may fight against each other secretly..eeeee…hate office politics…haha
Last comment is that 李英爱 is so beautiful, she came to Singapore yesterday and the photos of her are all elegant elegant one, at her age of 36 I think, she can still remain posed and beautiful..impressive…keke….

Birthday party..
Yesterday, sufen and peishan and I went to attend my secondary school's friend, kavi's 21st birthday party...feeling excited cos long time never see kavi and peishan le....kavi and I have been friends since sec 3 and it has been 6 years le...wow..time flies...sufen and peishan dressed very pretty for kavi's party, unlike me wearing same old jeans and shirt..didn't know need to dress up one..oops...so feeling so out of place..haiz and so kiddy.. :( ...someone please improve my dress sense...ha...back to the party, it was a total new experience cos it was the first time i went to an indian house..kavi's house is really indian cos of the decorations and music, ha...new experience for me...there were lots of her relatives and unlike the usual relatives who were quiet, they were very lively and her cousins even prepared dance for kavi..they were really brave cos need to perform in front of so many ppl...wow...so cute.. kavi's family members really very warm and lively and danced throughout the party, making the party full of laughter and fun..lucky there's no sabotage or anything on the birthday girl..hahahad eat indian food and they tasted nice and sufen really enjoyed them..haha..(sufen, dun worry la, u not fat lor so can eat a lot compared to me..) saw some photos on kavi's bedroom wall and i spotted a photo featuring the four of us in changmai (sec 3)..my mushroon head, sufen's tomboyish look and peishan's librarian look...ha..so funny...all's have changed ya and we are now almost 21..ha..they now all pretty pretty lei..ke..Had a great time chatting but now still have to get back to studies..the battle starts in two days time...jia you jia you..

Sleep
I am a girl who needs a lot of sleep, and i like sleeping over eating..haha..i will rather sleep longer than climbing out of bed to eat good food... I am also a person who feels sleepy in the afternoon, rather than night. This is definitely a big minus for my studying as I often doze off while studying in the afternoon which cause me to study really slow...sob sob...I can fall asleep easily in the afternoon and at night, i find that my time to fall asleep is rather long, ranging from 30 minutes to hours! ya, sometimes i go to bed at one and till 3+, e is still not in dreamland...i like to think of things while lying on bed at night, to review what i should have done during the day and regret (especially during exam revision where i wish i have woken up earlier and study more), to plan what i am going to do tomorrow..., and sometimes do some daydreaming..This makes me a late night sleeper and a late morning waker...i force myself to wake up early to study but however, when alarm clock rings, i just turn it off and go back to sleep, only unwillingly drag myself out of bed at around 11...mmm...then i will laze around and relax till 2+ then start studying...bad habit!! haiz, hope my studying can catch up and me gonna sleep now....hee..hope tml will be more fruitful...jia you jia you!

Time
The man came home from work late again, tired and irritated, to find his 5 year old sonwaiting for him at the door. "Daddy, may I ask you a question?""Yeah, sure, what is it?" replied the man. "Daddy, how much money do you make an hour?" "That's none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily. "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?" pleaded the little boy."If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour.""Oh," the little boy replied, head bowed. Looking up, he said,
"Daddy, may I borrow $10.00 please?" The father was furious. "If the only reason you wanted to know how much money I make is just so you can borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you're being so selfish. I work long, hard hours everyday and don't have time for such childish games."The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy's questioning. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money. After an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son.Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00, and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door."Are you asleep son?" he asked."No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy."I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier," said the man."It's been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here's that $10.00 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, beaming. "Oh, thank you daddy!" he yelled.Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills. The man, since the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at the man."Why did you want more money if you already had some?" the father grumbled."Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied."Daddy, I have $20.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?"
