Last post for year 2007
A few hours later, 2007 will be history and 2008 will come!!! Happy new year in advance to all my friends =)2007 is indeed a fruitful year with some major events happening in my life... First, it will be my end of schooling years as I graduated from NTU in June. Wearing the graduation gown and hat marks the transition of a student to a working adult... The graduation photo with my family is hanging at the wall and it's so big.. haha.... Next, will be of course the start of my working life.. Seeing my sister having exams makes me thankful that I do not need to trouble over exams... Seeing my sister having holidays makes me miss my schooling life.. haha... we can't have the best of both worlds, can we? But till now, I must say I'm settling down in my company now.. though it's not really my dream job, it's still quite a nice place to be in with my nice colleagues and a "cope-able" job.. hahaLast major event will be my single status to about-to-be-married status!! With OP's shocking proposal in September, I'm going to have a busy year ahead preparing for my wedding.. haha... sure a lot of fun stuff to do such as gown selection, photoshoot etc to headache stuff such as guest list and financial matters!! Hopefully, all will go well and i can have a dream wedding =)Wishing all my friends here a great 2008 and happy days ahead! Jia you =)

Yeah! One burden down
Finally, today's ceremony is over!! A few months of preparation, and I'm glad that overall, it ended quite well and fast, faster than I initially thought.. haha..Speaking to a group of people on stage was rather scary but later it was rather ok.. keke.. Practising the names at home helped a lot as I managed to pronounce the names rather quick and accurate.. haha.. but i guess no one will know if i said wrongly, except the recipient himself..kekeSufen is now in USA, with his boyfriend, celebrating a white christmas!! Recently, a lot of people are not in office as they are clearing their leave.. the whole office seems a bit lonely for Christmas.. haiz.. but never mind, I'm going to enjoy my short short break with OP next Friday at Sentosa!! Yeah!!

MC
MC - Not medical certificate but is master of ceremony!!I'm going to be MC for one function of my company this coming Wednesday!! Going to issue some awards to over 60 plus recipients, so I'll need to pronounce their names..This is what I'm scared of cos I'm not good at pronunciation so to announce their names over 100 plus people is so scary.. what if I pronounce wrongly? What if I;m tongue tied? I looked through the name list and some names are so difficult to pronounce :(I think MC is worst than giving presentations.. haha

Yeah!!!! I like it =)
Getting married often involves spending lots of $$.. Not only guy needs to spend, even girls ok.. We spend most on... GROOMING ourselves!!! Haha...Today, I just had my very first facial and face threading! I had been reading the forum for quite long as I think I'll need to go for facials regularly in order to prepare for my big day.. After reading about many positive review of Skin Revival, I decided to book appointment with them!!I have heard of facials that resulted in outbreaks or scarring so I was really scared and nervous when I went to visit them in the afternoon but the beautician was very nice and friendly. She assured me that she would do properly and won't worsen my skin.. keke...The facial and face threading took about 2.5 hours.. many steps were involved and the most painful would be the face threading and extraction. However, she said my threshold for pain was high cos usually first timer for face threading would feel very pain and tears would flow down involuntarily one.. She was surprised that I could bear the pain quite calmly.. hee.. I would say that the whole process was nice, with massage somemore.. haha... I finally see my forehead that is smooth and hairless.. I always have many baby hair on my forehead one.. Now, finally hairless le!! Yeah, HAPPY!!

Tired eyes!!
Do you still remember that when you were in Primary School, they used to promote eye exercise to all students?The purpose was to encourage students to maintain healthy eyes and to prevent worsening of eye sight.. There were a series of short exercises to massage the eyes etc.. However I forgot most if not all of them le!! Keke...Office people usually need to stare at computers whole day long.. Eyes will get tired easily, haiz.. My colleague said her eyesight was about 1000 degree each!!!! I dun wan!!So I tried to take a quick "nap" now and then, haha.. closing my eyes to rest rest.. I dun wan tired looking eyes :(

Run for the medal!
Today was OP's run for this year, which he also promised me to be his last marathon after he suffered from cramps in his legs, shoulders and muscle ache after the full 42km.... haha...Still remembered that last year, he took about 6 hours and 25 minutes to complete so I thought this year with less training, he would take longer time.. oops.. keke.. but surprisely, he told me he might reach the finishing line at about 11.40 plus... so i hurriedly went to KFC to buy his favourite iced lemon tea, poured it into a thermal flask and rushed down to city hall..After much effort in crossing the narrow path, I managed to get close one side of the finishing line and waited patiently for OP to call me to tell me he's reaching.. Meanwhile, I just stood there, watching many runners making their way to the finishing line.. sweaty but with a sense of accomplishment on their faces.. The sun was so hot in the afternoon, I was sweating already just standing there, could imagine the pain on these runners as they ran for so long under the hot sun....The runners: I'm reaching finishing line soon....
Just as the time was reaching 6 hours... OP appeared!!!!!!! He waved excitedly to me as he was approaching the finishing line and I managed to take these shots... hee...
I'm so so tired
He finished under 6 hours.. I took this shot seconds after he crossed the finishing line =)
He looked so tired after the race cos of the hot sun... poor OP!! nevertheless, he finished the race safe and sound, except for some painful cramps and aches.. keke...
The hard-earned medal!!
No more running already k, OP!! hee... and his reason to run for this year makes me smile too:

Few more hours to go!
Few more hours and OP will be up to have his 3rd Full Marathon run!! Last year, I bought iced milo for him at the finishing line.. This year, he requested for KFC iced lemon tea.. Haha, will bring camera to take photos and post about the race tomorrow!JIA YOU, OP!!
