Sick!
I'm still sick, my cough is super serious!! 3 weeks le and I didn't really anyhow eat but my cough still refuses to leave me.. got worsen still :(Gotten see doctor for the 3rd time!! Break my record! Just hope I won't cough so badly during my company's D&D this friday, if not, my table's people will go blame me for spreading germs.. haha

So familiar
I used to be Ang Mo Kio girl but 10 years ago, I become Hougang girl as the house I had in AMK was way too small to accomodate 5 adults..it's only 2 room flat!!Yesterday my mum decided to bring me to see a chinese medicine doctor in amk since my cough is still very serious..She says I used to see the doctor when I was living there... Thus, yesterday was my first time that I went back to my amk neighbourhood, the place I spent my childhood days..My old house is actually opposite AMK hub, separated by the bridge.. Yesterday was my first time in 10 years that I walked across the bridge to the other side, a total different scene from the amk hub area.."That's the coffeeshop I used to eat there!""That's the route I take to my primary school!""I used to buy cakes from this bakery!""There used to have this building?? How come I don't remember??""I remember this market!!!"These are some of the remarks I made excitedly to my mum as we walked in further into my neighbourhood.. All seem so familiar and my childhood memories came flashing back even though I don't remember some of the things I saw....Some things remain but some have changed to make way for a better, modern AMK.. I think it's really a good feeling to relive the childhood memories... So familiar!!

Cough cough!!
Every now and then, you can hear cough coming from a corner in my office... The cough comes from.... ME!!Yup, I'm down with the annoying cough and I have seen the doctor already!! However, still not much use, haiz... a lot of phlegm!!! Downside of cough is that you can't eat a lot of stuff!! No fried stuff, no cold stuff, no chicken.. and today my colleague told me cannot eat sweet stuff too!! Oh gosh, no sweet stuff :(Cough, go away FAST!!!

There's more than meet the eye
Maybe it's because I'm a newbie or maybe it's because I'm slow, I don't feel any obvious office politics yet....After some time in office, I heard stories/gossips from my colleagues and each has their own personal views about others... positive and negative....I also realise that one's actions may be interpreted in a different way by another person... I don't usually read much into people's actions but one of my colleagues seem to think really deep and is rather skeptical about these actions... "Wow, I didn't think so much" is my thought when I heard how she perceives others.....I don't know but I think I should remain neutral unless I experience it myself ba...Wonder if anyone in office also thinks negative about me.. keke

So big!!
"Wah, so big!" is the first remark everyone will make when they see it..It has finally arrived - my graduate portrait taken 2 months ago.... It's a grand size of 35R!! Really regret ordering such a big size, blame it on the constant persuasion by the staff... Haiz..Now, my dad has a headache on deciding where to hang it and how to hang it.. People who come to my house will surely not miss it!!

Happy!
Today when I went to buy burger from Burger King for my colleague, she asked me, "You don't want student meal??" (*smiles secretly*)Just now when I was going home on bus, a secondary school girl suddenly called, "Jie Jie, can help me pick up my pencil?" Her pencil had rolled under my feet and OP helped to pick it up..I was wearing office wear lor!! I was thought as a student and called jie jie wor!!HAPPY!! :)

Saving Gaia
Gaia in Greek means "Earth" and is synonymous with "Mother Earth".There's a program called "Saving Gaia" showing on Channel NewsAsia. It's about the problems faced by dear Mother Earth now and a series of problems we will face if we continue to do damages to the earth...I have watched episode 1 and 2: "When the cities go under"and "When the animals die".Whenever I watch the program, I'll feel so sad and disappointed... Worried about the future of the earth and the people.. People in the third world countries are suffering from the damage done to the earth by the first world countries who destroy the earth bit by bit...Right now, we can experience the consequences such as climate change, weird weathers....Haiz...I was really in a state of disgust and shock when I watched the episode of "When the animals die"... A live elephant was being squeezed into a small space and people began poking it with poles, pushing and breaking its bones.. One person even climbed up to its head and used something like a sickle to whack its forehead several times!!!! ARGH!! SO ANGRY!!! Sharks are being cut off their fins alive and throw back into the sea, to be left to die too!!! It says if we do nothing, sharks will be extinct in 15 years!!! Sharks' fin has no nutritional value and no taste..so people only eat it for the texture.. poor sharks...You know, I will consider taking out sharks' fins from my future wedding dinner and replace it with something of similar value.. Dun be disappointed if you are invited to my wedding and find out that's no sharks' fins hor....I'm not being stingy k.....
