A Night to Remember.....
I attended my first ever prom night and should be my last one since I am no longer a student.. Keke...Yup, it's my NBS Convocation Ball!! A night where friends gather around, a night of fun and laughter, a night where girls make a lot of effort in dressing up and a night of photo-taking!!! :D

I went to a hair salon to have my hair styled for the first time. I was given temporary curls and the hairstylist was very li hai cos look at how complicated my hair look from the back!!


I wore a blue dress for the night and a translucent white shawl.. Haha, first time so shu nu lei.. haha...

My graduation!!!!
24/7/07 marks the official end of my undergraduates studies, it's NBS convocation day!!!

My convocation is scheduled at 9am and I woke up at 630am... My mum was really kiasu cos when I woke up, she was already all dressed up!! Hahahaha

By the time I reached auditorium, it was already filled with "about-to-graduate" students waiting and chatting with each other or queuing up for extra invitation cards... When the time came closer to the convocation, the girls' toilet was super crowded as the girls were busy "robing" and putting on their hats and make-up..

I was super ugly when I put my hat on cos I have big head and chubby face, and the hat made it worse.. haha... when I get the photos, will upload for you all to see..haha...

The ceremony began and when it was my turn to go up (I waited very long cos my surname starts with "Y"), I was quite nervous..haha...We were supposed to smile and take photo but as there were a few cameras, I dunno where to look.. In the end when I purchased my stage photo, I realised I was looking elsewhere.. hahaha

Next up was the photo-taking session with my friends to make this convocation a lasting memory... It was really a great feeling to graduate together with your friends and having many happy photos to keep... Time really flies, and the freshies then have blossomed into young professionals, ready to serve the world....

Home-made healthy sushi
My mum demonstrated her healthy veggie sushi for us to eat...Easy to make and very healthy too...

You will need:

Shredded carrots
Shredded turnip
Shredded cabbage
Mayonnaise
Seaweed

Yup, that's all and you just need to roll the veggie with the seaweed and tada, the healthy veggie sushi is finished... Yum yum, I finished one whole plate! Haha


OP: I gonna make for you to try one day :) Yours will have lots of mayo..hahaha

One burden off!
Today as I handed over the money to the lady, I felt relieved... Cos..... I'm loan-free!!!!

Today was the day where I paid back my study loan to the bank, without incurring any interest cos I paid in full! Thanks to the help from my mum, she lent me some money and together with my 20 years of savings, I paid off my bank loan...

Now left is to pay my mum back in installments but it's ok cos it's interest-free... haha

Next week is an eventful week cos of my convocation and my very first and last prom night..hahaha

Petty Rabbit!!
Yes, I didn't type wrongly, it's petty rabbit, not pretty rabbit!!

My neighbour has a rabbit that they keep in a cage outside their house. Everytime I walk past, I would see the rabbit and I would stop to look at it. It's very cute and not afraid of strangers. It would rush to the front of its cage and stick its head out, and let me sayang!

One day, however when I walked past the cage, I was talking to my sister walking behind me, thus I didn't stop to sayang it... Then my sister said:

"You know, the rabbit just now rushed to the front and wanting to let you sayang its head but you walked away, and the rabbit turned its head to watch you walk away!"

When I heard that, I felt so guilty and ran back to sayang it...But it seems not very happy...

The next day, when OP accompanied me home after work, I deliberately stopped in front of the cage, wanting to sayang the rabbit... But the rabbit was very "dao", and it ignored me!!!!!!!

When OP walked past the cage to go home, he told me that the rabbit sticked its head out to let him sayang!!!

The rabbit so petty!!! Ignore me and let others sayang it!!! Bleah

P.S. Today I finally tasted the famous Donut Factory!! OP was very nice to queue 1 hour after his class at Suntec and he bought the delicious donuts... Yeah!! But very sinful, expecially the double chocolate!!!! Haha

This entry is a food entry again... Haha, with OP around, I eat a lot!!! Gosh..

Ok, first up is my pay treat to OP...I just gotten my very first pay so OP decided to take advantage of this and asked me for a treat!!! He likes the prime ribs steak from Hogbreath and thus, I treat him to the expensive prime ribs... It costs $32.50 lor!!!!

I dun eat beef so I tried its chicken wrap... But I think only their beef taste good ba cos mine doesn't taste really nice, and the wrap contains mostly veggies!

Ways to cover your tracks..haha

They recommend when you enter the cubicle to poo poo, during the "critical moment", start coughing loudly so that people will not hear the "poo poo" noise! Haha, they also recommend bringing in newspaper so that you can rustle the newspaper to make noise during the "critical moment" too...

It will be embarrassing for you if your poo poo is smelly and people know that you are the culprit! I also feel uneasy poo-poo-ing in public toilet...Thus, they teach us methods to remain anonymous..

You can either

1) only enter a toilet with nobody inside..However, I think it's quite difficult because it's out of your control and it's impossible to wait if you are extremely urgent..haha...

2) wait until everyone is out before you come out of your cubicle..haha..I do that in my office!! haha..that way, no one will know who the culprit is... hee hee

Yesterday, I took the familiar bus no. 179 to NTU...Although it's only about 2 months that I last been to NTU, it seems like I have been away for quite some time...keke...

We went back to take our transcript and certificate... As we queued up to take our documents, I suddenly remembered the very first day when I entered uni.. We were asked to sit in the auditorium to listen to the welcome speech and the inspirational talk they had prepared for us freshies...Could still remember that we were asked to wear the graduation gown and to wave our torchlights, symbolizing a new start in our lives....

3 years have gone past... It seems like my first day, my school projects, my presentations and my fyp all just happened not long ago... Now just left the formal convocation to finally declare ourselves as graduates..keke

Marching on to my next stage in life: freshies in the working world..haha... jia you jia you :)

I'm hopeless!!
Today my colleague brought me to the coffee shop nearby to "da pao" food as we decided to eat in...She frequently went there and she recommended me the "cai fan" there...

So we ordered our cai fan and I started to eat my food during lunchtime while my hardworking colleague went to our company's gym to workout...

Later when she came back to have her food, I heard her scream for my name...

"Did you order the same vegetables as me? It's spoilt!!"

I opened my eyes wide as I recognised the same vegetable which I have just eaten... Initially, I thought it did taste a bit sour but I thought it's their style of cooking...ARGH!!! Since young, I can't really differentiate "spoilt" food unless they are really that spoilt...

"You didn't finish right?" She asked...

"I almost ate all....." I mumbled while she stared at me...

Oh gosh, dumb and dumber, I am the dumbest!!!!

One "good" thing is that she dragged me to find the cai fan owner to complaint about the veggie and I get to have 50 cents back (-_-")
