Student to Employee
I just received a call today, asking me to start work on this coming Monday!! So fast!! Just two days away before I step into the working world!!!I am happy to receive the call as I finally can start earning $$ to repay loans and contribute to the household...But I also feel nervous as I know the working world is going to be a completely different from my past 22 years of free-and-easy life...Furthermore, I am doing Finance which is something I think I am really not good at...I will be seeing figures for the next dunno-how-many-years... Sounds scary but hopefully I can enjoy my working life although I have to say goodbye to slacking and weekday shopping le... Wish me luck :)

All about food!
On last Sunday, OP brought me along for his poly friends' gathering and the meeting place was at Waraku Japanese Restaurant near Marina Square. It was our first time there! haha....We didn't know what to order so we just ordered their udon and ramen to try...When the food came, we were really surprised at the size of the bowls..Haha, the bowls were really big but when you peeped in, actually the noodles not really a lot...Very big bowls!! haha
After tasting, we only think that the noodles were so-so only but OP's friends ordered other stuff which we thought look good..haha, but we didn't try la..hee...The gathering ended at about 3.30 and OP & I just went shop shop around and at dinner time, we went to a Jap restaurant again!! Haha, we were having a whole day of Jap food! We ate at Tonkichi at Suntec..OP loved the food there, especially their deep-fried pork fillets..I also must admit that it is very tasty, very tender and does not have the oily feeling..nice!!Waiting to indulge in our delicious dinner
We ordered the twin set and the set was really worth the price! It consisted of 1 pc of loin, 2 pcs of fillets, 2 pcs of prawns and yummy sweet potato and mushroom..a lot of cabbage too..haha... 2 bowls of rice, 2 bowls of miso soup, 2 small bowls of bamboo shoots and refreshing sweet watermelon as dessert!!!The highlight of the twin set! yum yum...
But I felt rather full during that time so I didn't eat a lot...OP ate until he's super full..hahaYesterday, my sister and I went out to shop for her formal wear and as yesterday was Tuesday, it means......Waffle day!! haha, Gelare waffles are half-priced during Tuesdays so we decided to go eat eat...Nice waffle topped with cookies and cream ice cream, and a happy me!
Oops, I eat too much again!!!!

I like you cos you look like my dad!!
Interesting find: The type of man who makes woman’s heart flutter has a lot to whether she was a daddy’s girl!!!A study has found out that women who got along well with their dads as kids are attracted to men who resemble their fathers, whereas women who had a bad father-daughter relationship do not. It also shows that human brains build prototypes of the ideal face based on those to whom we have a strongly positive relationship.Haha, so to the girls out there, do your boyfriend look like your dad??

Nice jokes
Below are some nice jokes I found online..keke.... enjoy..Joke 1:There once was a very good old barber in New York. One day a florist goes to him for a haircut. After the cut, he goes to pay the barber and the barber replies:"I am sorry. I cannot accept money from you. I am doing community service."The Florist is happy and leaves the shop. The next morning when the barber goes to open his shop, there is a thank you card and a dozen roses waiting at his door. A policeman goes for a haircut and he also goes to pay the barber after the cut.But the barber replies: "I am sorry. I cannot accept money from you. I am doing community service." The cop is happy and leaves the shop. The next morning the barber goes to open his shop, there is a thank you card and a dozen donuts waiting at his door.A Singaporean software engineer goes for a haircut and he also goes to pay the barber after the cut. But the barber replies: "I am sorry. I cannot accept money from you. I am doing community service."The Singaporean software engineer is happy and leaves. The next morning when the barber goes to open his shop, guess what he finds there? Can you guess? Have you got the answer?....a dozen Singaporeans waiting for a free haircut!hahaJoke 2:TEACHER: Ellen, give me a sentence starting with "I."ELLEN: I is...TEACHER: No, Ellen..... Always say, "I am."ELLEN: All right... "I am the ninth letter of the alphabet."Joke 3:A woman was terribly overweight, so her doctor put her on a diet."I want you to eat regularly for 2 days, then skip a day, and repeat this procedure for 2 weeks. The next time I see you, you'll have lost at least 5 pounds."When the woman returned, she shocked the doctor by losing nearly 20 pounds."Why, that's amazing!" the doctor said, "Did you follow my instructions?"The woman nodded. "I'll tell you though, I thought I was going to drop dead that third day.""From hunger, you mean?""No, from skipping."

Neoprint! I like...hee
I like taking neoprints since secondary school! Haha, I find it very fun as we get to choose many different nice backgrounds and can even decorate the neoprints... OP and I went to Bugis to take neoprints on Saturaday on a impromptu decision and we really had fun taking the neoprints as we posed differently from our usual normal poses..hahaha... Decorating time was interesting too! We have 4 different shots and here is OP's favourite shot..hee

Special someone
Yesterday, I caught the show "名厨上菜" on channel u. Famous chefs are invited on show, and they are to prepare dishes that have never been served in their restaurants before to a special someone. On last night's show, the chef prepared his dishes for his English teacher who had taught him 11 years ago. The chef remembered his teacher's kindness and how she motivated him to learn English. He even kept the teacher's note to him carefully in his locker for 11 years! The chef couldn't find his teacher, thus he made use of this show to find his teacher and let her know how he misses her all these years..The scene was a touching one as they met. The teacher was so touched when she saw the note that her student had been keeping and she couldn't believe that her words of encouragement 11 years ago would make such a huge impact on a person, making him remember her for so long........Just as she said,"I couldn't remember what I did to make you remember me for so long......" The chef replied,"Teachers are like that, they may not remember words that come from their hearts, but they will always be remembered by those who benefited from these words..."Indeed, do not think that you are an insignificant person, because you may have unknowingly make a difference in someone else life......

~Smile~
"Sit straight"
"Smile"
"Why no expression one??"
"Tilt your head to the left/right a little"
These are the few "instructions" I heard today...guess where was I just now?? Yup, I was at the studio taking photos, haha, my whole family were down to Serangoon Broadway to have my graduation portrait taken. One is with my whole family, the other is my individual photo..
There were quite a lot of people there, waiting to take their pictures...First, my mum and I were taken to a place to have our make-up. I looked so weird when I finished my make-up cos I have light-green eye shadow and pink blush which I found to be a bit too "pink"...I have never put on make-up that is so obvious..haha..My sister thought I look strange too...haha
Maybe I'm not used to heavy make-up..haha...
My dad was in a coat and he looked so formal...so funny also..haha....
After I put on my graduation gown, we were off to the studio...First time in a studio, with professional camera and lighting!! Haha, but think my family was not used to these kind of photo-taking so they were rather stiff and expression-less...
Our smiles looked fake I think..haha...Finally, it's my individual photo-taking..they showed me some poses and I just followed and smiled widely....hope the pictures will turn out nice cos I'm not photogenic...haha
