Pre-exam

Exams are coming, the same semi-annual nightmare....my table gonna to be messier once more, with notes lying around and textbooks stacking on top of one another...

Projects finally finish and i should start studying now right? (can see from the fact i'm slacking as i'm blogging now..keke) but how come i still can't get into the mood..die die...everytime face this problem one...haiz...my starting pace will be sooooooo slow that a person starting a week later can catch up with me... am i like that when i am in secondary school? mmm...think i was much hardworking that time..age makes me slackier..

this weekend gonna be busy as need ot attend a birthday party and going to OCS...so my weekend gone le...can only seriously start next monday but i'm sure i will nap in the afternoon and reading lecture notes at snail's pace...haha...

P.S. to all my friends: another round of exams coming so let's jia you once more but at the same time take good care of yourself...then prepare for the PA...so sianz..haiz..

Isn't it weird?

Isn't it weird that although you have some free time now as projects are almost over, u still have no mood to study for exams, in the end you complaint that you have no time?? (that's me! haha)

Isn't it weird that a team of friends who has worked well during competition, turned into foes and badmouthed each other in the boardroom? (inspired by "The Appendice")

Isn't it weird that the shirt which looks nice on you in the fitting room doesn't look so nice when you change it at home, thus it stays there in your warerobe and remain untouched?

Isn't it weird that even though you know that ice cream is fattening and you are determined to lose weight, you can't resist the urge to buy one?

Isn't it weird that you find some faces familiar and yet you don't know each other?

Perception of Time

We have 24 hours each day, each year is the same, each person has the same...but perception of time is different for different periods and different people....

When your days have been filled with studies and projects, you always feel that time isn't enough and it flies super fast...I know this feeling cos I am amazed at how fast I am going to attend yet another round of exams when I can still remember how relieved and happy I was when my last sem's examinations ended...time passes so quickly !!

When your day is filled with play and happiness, time also passes quickly.. "so late already arh?" is often the question you'll ask when you are having fun and playing....maybe that's why it makes you treasure the happiness and joy you have as time just sneaks past...

When you are sleeping and you are awaken by the alarm clock, you'll grumble and wish to lie on the bed longer.."i wanna sleep more"..Although you may have slept for 8 hours, you only feel that you have just napped for 3 hours...haha, especially for those who have slept late the previous night....

When you are feeling bored, waiting for someone or having nothing to do, you feel that time is soooo slow...especially when the lecturers are boring and you are feeling sleepy..don't you wish that time can go faster so that you can go home? haha..me also... waiting is also a slow process, you become impatient when your friend is late for 5 minutes or you will grumble if you see that your next train will arrive 8 minutes later...."wait so long!!"

When you are sad, time is also crawling... you feel that you have been crying for ages but in actual fact, your tears have only flown for several minutes...

Time flies but sometimes it crawls.......

Wouldn't it be nice....

Wouldn't it be nice if I have the following powers:

1) To read other people's mind and find out what are they actually thinking...Almost all people have times where they are not speaking from the bottom of their hearts and playing mind games... I wish to know what you are I know it's unethical to find out other people's privacy but i won't abuse this power..keke...

2) To become invisible.... Sometimes, people behave differently when others are not around so it will be fun to see what they are doing...(dun think dirty, i won't be peeping tom!! bish) I will also wish to travel through people without them noticing me...so carefree...

3) To be able to let time run in slow motion...sometimes, we are walking, eating, working at a fast pace that we don't notice things around us...the environment, the animals and the people....too fast that we find it stressful and can't breathe...relaxing is a luxury so why not let time passes slower...but will that cause ppl not to treasure time anymore? mm...humans...

4) To be able to fly (without ppl noticing)...ha... i always dream of flying..so fun and somemore my name is flying paper so i like flying...keke...to see world at a high point and to escape from dangers.... to fly without expense and polluting the earth...keke

5) To be able to understand animals language.... animals are amazing and i want to find out what are they actually talking...ha..what are their lives like? what is their topic of interest? mmm...interesting...

6) To be able to turn back the time.... sometimes, ppl do things that they regret and sometimes their mistakes cost them to lose their loved ones, physically or emotionally... maybe many unhappiness will not happen if time can be turned back? but in this way, maybe no one will treat their actions seriously...

mmm...me too greedy le...ask for so much powers but this is only my dream so no harm dreaming big...ke..what power do you wish to have?

My ambition?

Today, one of my friends asked me whether i have any ambition...without any thought, i replied: "i want my projects to complete smoothly and on time"..then, i saw my friend giving me a "huh?" look, saying : "so short-term? dun u have any long-term ambition?"

Mmm..if u ask me this question when i was a kid, i would answer with enthusiasm: "I want to be a teacher"..ke..that was my ambition long time ago but i had changed it due to the terrible experience of teaching my sister..it made me hate teaching so i abandoned this ambition...

Later, i got inspired by a TV show that showed Chen Han Wei as a copywriter for advertisments..i found it really interesting cos i liked to come up with interesting slogans and concepts so i aspired to be a copywriter...My ambition was strengthened when the mass communication facility from poly came to my sec school to give us talks....it sounded so interesting....

But due to me being "crowd-follower", i went to JC instead but i swore to go to mass comm in uni so i studied hard for my general paper and wanted to go to ntu mass comm no matter what...in the end, i applied and even passed thorugh the interview and written test....

However, being a useless person with weak will, i did not follow my ambition and instead joined many friends in ntu nbs...ironically, i was determined not to join business when i was choosing my course cos i dun wan to be stuck in office all long day and ending up with a tummy...ha

so here i am...i really dunno my ambition...cos things will not go according to what u wan, especially for me cos me is indecisive....my ambition will be vague which is to find a interesting job where my friend's ambition was to set up a family and have a good career by age 30...she said that withour ambition and goal, you will only be living your life day by day without accomplishment..i agree...

I wish i have an ambition...what's yours??
