Mooncake festival

Sunday is mooncake festival where the moon will be at its brightest and roundest..ha...mmm..still can remember the childhood days where I would get very excited over this festival cos I could go to Bishan park to play with lanterns and candles with my neighbour kids....really very fun and we (a bunch of kids) would be sticking candles all over the place, lighting them, then blowed them off and then lighted again...(wu liao right?)

But when I grew bigger, I objected to the idea of sticking candles all over the floor cos once when I got home, I saw a indian cleaner squatting on the floor, using a knife to clean off the mess that were left behind by the burning candles...That day was a hot day and I really felt pitiful for the cleaner..We should not make him do extra work just for the pleasure of ourselves..so from that day onwards, I didn't play with candles le....haha....

As one grows up, celebration of mooncake festival seems insignificant, no one is free to really sit down with a cup of tea and mooncake, and grazing at the moon...ha..just eat mooncakes in front of television....recently, heard chocolate's comment that durian mooncakes are nice..so i recommend my mum to go buy..ha..hope she does...hee...cos want to try something new..
