Chinese New Year Preparation
Chinese New Year is about a week away and from the songs played in supermarkets and the decorations, the atmosphere is warm and cheerful....
Well, chinese new year preparation involves quite a few things.
1) Spring-cleaning...
mmm....regarding this, haven't really started major cleaning process, except wiping a few things,. Tidying up my room is a tedious work cos dunno where to start but i'll try..haha..
2) Shopping for goodies
Ya, did that shopping trip and we sure buy a lot of things. Just on goodies, we spend about $100 +..amazing. I was shocked that we could actually spend so much on those chocolates, sweets, cookies, tidbits... My sis bought so much tidbits..I wonder why we need to eat so much for new year...and i realise that chinese new year is a good excuse for pigging out...ha..but only a few days cos need go back school so can we finish so much food?? ha..diet plan going to be spolit
3) Shopping for clothes
Well, i didn't go shopping for new clothes cos no time and i dunno what to buy either.. mmm, my parents complaint i have too many clothes but i dun think so..ha...girls always like to have more and more clothes..ha..but think this new year i'll stick to my old clothes ba...
Well, that's all i can think of for preparation.. this semester is sure a busy busy busy period so my wish is to let me have more time to complete my projects!

A dog's brave act
Yesterday I read from the newspaper about a brave Husky female dog in Taiwan called "Bao Bao" and hope to share with u ppl..
This is not the real Bao Bao :P
Bao Bao's owner is a pregnant woman who lives in Gao Xiong called Miss Huang. She has finance difficulties and she plans to give away Bao Bao as she cannot afford to keep her. On the first of Jan, she felt a sudden pain and was about to give birth. However, as she had no money, she decided to give birth at home.Alone at home, she struggled to make her way to the bathroom but as her strength was draining, she could not even close the bathroom door. All the while, her dog Bao Bao was following her. Miss Huang sat ont he toilet bowl and using all her might, finally gave birth to her baby but as she had no strength left, she fell to the floor. Her baby fell into the toilet bowl.Miss Huang was extremely weak and was afraid that her baby would drown. Lucky, Bao Bao peeped into the toilet bowl and picked the baby up. Later, Miss Huang discovered that the baby's face was covered with water and could hardly breathe but she could not get up to wipe her baby. Immediately, Bao Bao licked the baby's face and after a while, the baby let out a loud cry.Bao Bao has saved her little master from drowning. Bravo Bravo, what a smart Husky. After the news is released to the public, hundreds of people wish to keep Husky. However, recent post states that Bao Bao will most probably be sent to the rescue team to be a rescue dog!I find it super touching and amazing cos a dog has saved a human! Husky does look a little fierce but Husky is known to be calm and is highly intelligent. It has a mother nature and is loyal to its owner. A female Husky will have even more loving nature. I salute u , Bao Bao..

My bro transforming from Boy to Man..
Today my family wake up early at 6am cos today is a special day. It's the day where my younger brother is going to be transformed totally from a boy to a man. It's his recruitment into the army day and my mum is super anxious abt it. My brother prepared himself yesterday by shaving his hair..looks weird though but he refuses to let me touch his "durian" head..haha...we go there with an additional person who has gone through army YEARS ago..haha..thanks "someone" for waking up early and going with us also..Take a bus ride first then a ship ride to the training centre at Pulau Tekong..interesting cos never been there before..a huge place and the officers there explain various places and things that my brother will be experiencing there. Their bedroom is spacious and the bed seems comfortable...ha..but dunno whether my brother can handle the washing laundry and folding bed part cos he never do housework at home..Well, my brother has embarked on a new chapter in his life..know it's tough and harsh but i guess all sons of singapore have to go through this...jia you le, my brother...
