My labour day

Today my dad brought me to familiarize myself with the route to my PA company, Ingram Micro. I am a direction idiot since young and therefore if I need to go to somewhere unfamiliar, I always make it a point to go there first before the actual day so I won’t get lost and end up late. So my dad took the effort to go down to kallang bahru with me, teaching me where to take bus etc.

When I finally reached there, I saw my company’s name on a building. So that’s where I will be working for the next two months plus. Staring at the unfamiliar building and the ulu surroundings (the area there are all office buildings and factories, no shopping centers, no gaga places), suddenly I felt tense and nervous. Guess that’s how everyone will feel next Monday ba.

Ingram Micro is near to the place that I worked last time during my long JC holidays, Noel Gifts International. Never did I imagine that I’ll be going back to the same area to work, this time round for my PA, keke.

Went to Suntec City alone today to shop for my office wear. I don’t want to keep wearing my 2 G2000 long sleeve shirts to work so I tried looking for some blouses that are suitable for work. It was not an easy task. If I saw some suitable ones, they’ll either be too expensive or too big for me. Headache! So in the end only manage to buy 2 blouses which I hope are ok for office wear. Bought one pant and a skirt too cos scared that the company is like what the teacher says, a “no-pants” company. Spent quite a lot of $$ today, pain pain. Hope to find some more suitable reasonably-priced clothes (office and causal) and update my wardrobe. Keke….
