Singapore's First Wheelchair Accessible Low-Floor Superbus
Yup, heard of this bus? I saw it recently and was really surprised. The bus looked huge and very spacious. Found out that this bus will be equipped with wheelchair accessible ramp and other special features for the comfort and safety of all passengers. A specially-designated area, with a special backrest, low position handrails and a push button for signalling the intention to alight, has been installed to make commuting on public transport more comfortable for passengers in wheelchairs. Overall, a total of 150 of these buses will be operating this year.
The new bus has a unique design, different from the normal buses. The bus has curvy contours on its edges. An interesting point I find out is that the aesthetically designed “full length” windscreen is a new feature in the local public transport service. The concave edge of the lower windscreen is designed to look like a smiling face, making it stand out from existing buses. It is a good news for the wheelchair-bound people cos right now, think only taxis are conventient for them, MRT trains not that really accessible, i think although there are improvements. With these new buses, they will be able to save transportation costs ba.So watch out for these buses on the road next time! Hard to see them wor...keke

Addicted
I have been addicted to Racing Frog! Luckily, i dun have to spend a lot of time playing the game. There's a VIP zone where I will need to purchase a code in order to enter. However, now it is being offered free to frogs under 21 days old (7 human days) so I have been making full use of the VIP zone.In the VIP zone, I can view my frog race on TV, feed it dragonflies to boost his abilities and even see his photo album. Everytime you buy him stuff, a photo will be taken. It is so cute!! Also I am able to chat with the frog. I am amused by his answers cos it makes me feel that I'm talking to a real thing...haha...think many of you will think i'm crazy, talking to a frog ?!?! But it's really fun, can ask him various questions and he often seems to have answers..haha.. (he says he loves me very much when i ask him whether he loves me! haha) Right now, he is doing fine, won quite a lot of race le! Here's the VIP zone....fun
Here's one of the cutest photo..KIKI at 4 hours old..
He's currently 18 days old (6 human days old)
Opps, i'm becoming so childish..haha..but i'm having fun :P

Immature adult
Just a few years back, I got addicted to a site Racing Frog . This is a site where you can raise your own frog (you can customise the frog), train and feed the frog to prepare it for the daily frog race. With the gold won, you can purchase items for the frog. It doesn't take a lot of time daily to feed and train the frog so I decided to sign up. However, the passion died off after a few months, i think..Yesterday, dunno why, I felt like playing the game again and I went to sign up...At the" personal particulars", I saw something that made me laugh.I'm an immature adult!!! Haha, ya, i know i'm a childish adult a LONG time ago but this site just make me feel so old! Adults cannot play mei ?!?! bleah...After signing up, realised that there's a few additional features...sounds interesting...here's my frog..His name is KIKI...

Blissful rainy day
I am down with sore throat again, it never fails to disturb me every semester.
Hate it cos it causes me to lose my voice, cause me to feel uncomfortable.
Today, a heavy rain started to pour around five.
I sat on bed, looking at the splash and mess the rain created.
"What a cold and wet day"
Suddenly, my phone rang and I heard a familiar voice.
Instantly, my heart was filled with warmth.
Even though it rained heavily, even though it was a long journey,
he came and delivered me the warmest gift...
I wanted to say "thank you".
I felt better already.

Big Baby
Recently, there's a new member in my tuitee's house...not that she has a new brother but her family is taking care of a baby, think it's their relative's one... I was a bit shocked when I saw the baby cos he's so chubby and bigger-sized than the usual baby of his age...even my tuitee's brother (aged 2) looked smaller-sized than him..My tuitee said the baby ate too much le..haha......
Doesn't he look so chubby? Here, he looks normal but with comparsion to the other baby, he did look "big"..keke...
My tuitee and the chubby baby..keke
Btw, he cried real loudly after I took these two photos...scared me! haha

Sweet September
Sweet september? Mmm, february is considered sweet but why september? Well, I chanced upon by accident, I find out that September is the national honey month! So it's the offical sweet month right? Haha... Think the reason why Sept is honey month is because many of the crops pollinated by honey bees are harvested during this month. Woo ~ honey tastes nice! keke

It's free and good for health!!
Seeing the word "free" may have brightened some of you people's eyes, right? keke..... Actually, I find human beings a bit "naughty" and "rebellious". When they know the bad outcomes of certain things, they still do it. For example, sinful food are always most people's favourites even though they are harmful!!! Exercise is good for health but sometimes, we will find excuse not to... Also, buying unnecessary stuff just because it's on sale... (yup, i'm describing myself..haha)
Well, now let me introduce to you a "thing" that's free and good for own well-being...guess what it is!! (dun bish me when u heard the answer) It is................................................

Laughter!!!
Having a good laugh makes you feel good and studies show that laughing is good for health. What can be better than this?!?!
- Laughter may reduce the risk of having heart disease. It benefits the heart by improving blood flow through the blood vessels.
- Laughter can aid in improving your cardiovascular system as laughing has the same effect in the blood vessels as aerobic activity.
- Chuckles help to reduce blood sugar levels after meals and keep diabetes under control. So go ahead and crack a joke after meal! :)
- Laughing releases good hormones, including endorphins. Stress hormones are reduced when you laugh too! So you realise that after a good laugh, there's an blissful afterglow on your face...wow....
So let's start being light-hearted and laugh! Amazingly, studies show that faking a laugh has the same benefits too.... but, i find faking very hard..keke....but having a good laugh is kinda rare and hard also...mmm...wouldn't it be nice if we can have the "laughing emoticon" just like our msn, and by clicking it, we would laugh out happily....haha

Happy Teachers' Day
It's the time of the year where our hardworking and noble teachers are being showered with attention and gifts....Time of the year where students have no school also, haha!! (Uni no celebration = no holiday :P)
Still remember last time where me and a few close friends would go back to our secondary school to visit teachers....Still remember Mr. Tan said that he was touched to see uni's students coming back to visit teachers cos usually, students that have graduated from sec school for 2 to 3 years won't come back le...
Mmm, sorry to say, I didn't make a visit to school this year cos i have classes on thursday and friends can't make it on wed...Think it's unavoidable that when u get older and are into uni or working, it's very hard for u to go back to school to visit ur teachers...think the teachers also realise that, that's why Mr. Tan said those words...
Anyway, even if i didn't visit them, that does not mean I have forgotten them. Will always remember the fun times in sec school and the teachings of my teachers...Happy Teachers' Day!
