Interview...

Today, I went for my assessment interview for Management Trainee with NTUC Fairprice. This is my second assessment type of interview, the first one is with STB. Both interviews required us to work in teams and played games/came up with proposal. This is to test us on our team-work ability and leadership skills. The interviewers would walk around, and recorded their observations.

Today's group of people is rather competitive. At the Q&A session where the interviewer posed us some questions regarding NTUC's competitors and business strategy, many of them fought to answer and one even requested to draw graph to illustrate his point. Ohh.... they all looked capable and as you all expected, I was quiet. Not that I don't have opinions, just that too many people are fighting for attention and to answer. Oops....

I have to admit that ome of the people at the group are good. They possess good communication skills, and have an air of confidence. I would definitely choose them if I was the interviewer. At the end, there's also a written essay. The questions are like exam questions, asking about core competencies, business and corporate strategies and competitors...like my NTU exams..haha...But I prefer written tests cos this is the only way for quiet people like me to show them my ideas and opinions...haha

Think not much hope for me... but it's ok cos I also dun really like the idea of working shifts, weekends and public holidays..hahahaha

Mmm, next up will be my Ministry of Home Affairs one... I must jia you le!!!
