The Big 30s for Rhys and the Big 50+s for Mum!
Last Saturday was Rhys's big 30s birthday!! Keke, his age has leaped into the "3" digit!! Haha, to celebrate this special occasion, I went to buy his favourite cake which was mango cake from bengawan solo!! See his happy face!! haha
How can we just stop at birthday cake?? Keke, I also bought him a jacket which he seems to like it a lot.. haha.. He said the jacket makes him look smarter.. haha

You know, Rhys is quite greedy cos he made me treat him to a $$ meal at a steakhouse!! He's a fan of steak and as I'm celebrating his birthday as a wife for the first time, I decided to give in to his greedy request and took him to the restaurant: The Morton's Steakhouse!!
I'm going to eat a lot!! haha
As I've told the restaurant that we were celebrating Rhys's birthday, they were really nice to decorate our table with glitter strips and customised a menu for us!

Before we started ordering, a friendly waitress came and started to introduce to us their famous steak.. Quite a lot of variety and she even showed us a live lobster.. But I think after seeing the live lobster, I wouldn't want to order that.. haha...
After taking our order (I ordered a yellowfin tuna while Rhys ordered a steak), they presented to us their complimentary onion bread.. It was HUGE!!!

This is Rhys's order. He found it quite nice but a bit huge for the portion which resulted in it becoming a bit cold and tough towards the end...
My order.. It looked nice on the outside but inside it was raw!! My mistake in ordering this... It was a bit disgusting for me to eat such a huge piece of raw fish...oops..not a good choice for me...
After the main course, 4 of the staff came and sang "Happy Birthday" song to the birthday boy!! How thoughtful! =)

Later, they presented to us a free dessert! Their famous chocolate cake with melted chocolate inside which flowed out when you cut the cake.. hee... it was quite nice!

Later, they even took a photo for us and printed it out..It was presented to us in a card with greetings from the staff.. So sweet of them! Hee...
Once again, happy big 30 to Rhys!!! Yeah!!
Last Monday, my family and I also went to celebrate my Mum's birthday!! As age is a woman's secret, I shall not reveal my mum's age! Haha.. we treated her to Tonkichi!! A place famous for their pork chop! Hee, I didn't bring my camera out thay day so unfortunately there's no picture to show!! Oops...
Glad that mum and dad enjoyed the dinner although mum said she prefered Dian Xiao Er! Haha, okie will treat them next time to Dian Xiao Er... When we reached home, my sister and I went to buy a mango cake for my mum as she's not a fan of chocolate cake.. Yup, the second mango cake for me.. haha...
